Transporting cars to different countries is the most time consuming process since the cars are sent via the sea. Not only it is time consuming it is also risky as you can see here in this case where a cargo ship carrying more than 1200 luxury cars, including Jaguars and a Rolls-Royce Wraith worth at least £35 million ($53 million USD) has been stranded and the cars risk being scrapped.
The Hoegh Osaka vehicle carrier was deliberately run aground on a sandbank between Southampton and the Isle of Wight, on Saturday night to prevent it capsizing after it began listing dangerously. The ship is said to be carrying 1,200 Jaguar sports cars and Land Rover 4x4s, 65 BMW Minis, 105 JCB diggers and a single Rolls-Royce Wraith. The cargo ship was destined for the Middle East
